In September 2005, Steven created ActingHalifax in Halifax, Nova Scotia. The class ran successfully for 7 months until the summer of 2006.

After returning to Vancouver, BC, Steven founded ActingVancouver in November 2006.

The focus of ActingVancouver is to combine scene study with on-camera auditioning & film-acting training.
